Erika Lahka is a policy expert with a strong background in internationalization strategies and public administration. With extensive experience in Higher Education, cross-border cooperation, EU-funded projects, and regional development, she bridges institutional policy with global perspectives to foster sustainable growth and Innovation. As Internationalization Project Manager and International Student Recruitment Manager at Czech Technical University in Prague she lead strategic innitiatives including implementation of the university’s internationalization strategy, Alumni strategy, coordination of national development projects (teamwork focused on Ukrainian universities), and promotion of international student recruitment and services through CTU channels as well as university consortium Study in Prague. She has represented Czech Higher Education at global conferences as a speaker, such as QS Higher Ed Summit, Dubai EXPO 2020 and contributed to international development through policy-driven projects and academic diplomacy. Her previous work in Turkey and at Turkish universities reflects her deep engagement in cross-border cooperation, especially within EURAS university network engaging international partners.
