Gathering in Brussels, 15 European partners, including MIIC’s Founding Director, came together to explore the Horizon research grant centered on youth and citizenship. The meeting featured lively discussions on enhancing university capabilities in response to current trends in international education.
MIIC’s founding director, Dr. Eva Janebova, chaired the SESSION 09.02 at the EAIE 33rd Annual Conference 2023 in Rotterdam, focused on how US and EU universities are working on a project towards internationalisation through transnational professional learning communities.
The Hague University of Applied Sciences hosted a symposium, where participants, including MIIC Director Dr. Eva Janebova, presented a diverse range of sessions spotlighting their applied research in internationalization. The event emphasized how this research and professional development of academics play a pivotal role in enhancing internationalized teaching and learning.
At a noteworthy ‘diner pensant’ gathering, MIIC Founding Director Dr. Eva Janebova together with Patricia Mestenhauser Bergh, Kay Thomas, Barbara Kappler (Advisory board members) and Renata Tichá (Board of Directors Chair) discussed the MIIC’s mission to a distinguished group of senior academics, educators, experts, and civil society leaders in the Twin Cities. They garnered their support for MIIC’s mission of promoting international collaboration.
